It’s become a familiar refrain from Democrats: “We cannot be the only party that plays by the rules anymore.” This cry, echoed by figures like DNC Chairman Ken Martin, suggests a newfound commitment to fair play. But let’s pause and reflect on the history of the party’s actions.

For years, Democrats have manipulated the system to their advantage. They’ve gerrymandered districts to ensure electoral dominance, circumvented constitutional voting laws during the COVID-19 pandemic, and opposed common-sense measures like voter ID. They’ve even installed a vice president with questionable qualifications and hidden the cognitive decline of a sitting president. And now, they claim to be the champions of fair play?

Gerrymandering: A Tool for Power

Democrats have long engaged in gerrymandering, the practice of drawing electoral district boundaries to favor their party. This manipulation dilutes the voting power of opposition parties and undermines the democratic process. For instance, in California, Democrats have pushed for redistricting plans that would create additional seats favorable to their party, a move critics argue is a direct response to Republican-led redistricting efforts in other states.

Election Law Manipulation During COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic provided Democrats with an opportunity to alter election laws under the guise of public health. In Pennsylvania, for example, a federal appeals court ruled that mail-in ballots could not be disqualified solely for lacking correct or any dates on their envelopes, a decision that Democrats hailed as a victory for voter rights.

Similarly, in Georgia, the Election Integrity Act of 2021 was introduced to overhaul the state’s election laws, including measures like requiring voter ID for absentee ballots and limiting the use of ballot drop boxes. While supporters argue these changes are necessary for election security, critics claim they disproportionately affect minority voters.

Opposition to Voter ID Laws

Despite widespread support for voter ID laws among the American public, Democrats have consistently opposed such measures. They argue that these laws suppress voter turnout, particularly among minority communities. However, studies have shown that voter fraud is exceedingly rare, and the implementation of voter ID laws can enhance public confidence in the electoral process.

The Kamala Harris Conundrum

The selection of Kamala Harris as vice president raised eyebrows due to her lack of political experience and questionable qualifications. Her rapid ascension to the presidency, should it occur, would be unprecedented and raises concerns about the competence and stability of the nation’s leadership.

The Biden Cognitive Decline Cover-Up

The mainstream media and Democratic leaders have been complicit in downplaying President Biden’s cognitive decline. Instead of addressing the issue transparently, they’ve resorted to tactics like using an autopen to sign legislation, a clear indication that the president may not be fully capable of performing his duties.

Conclusion

Democrats’ recent calls for fair play ring hollow when viewed against their history of manipulating the system to maintain power. Their actions speak louder than their words. It’s time for them to stop pretending to be the party of integrity and acknowledge their role in undermining the democratic process.
